Exhibit: Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity

By: Katie Armour

Celebrating the role fashion played in the work of the Impressionists and their contemporaries, this fabulous new exhibit at The Met will leave you dreaming of parasols and top hats. "Impressionism, Fashion, and Modernity" features eighty-some paintings alongside a striking collection of gowns, hats, and other historic fashion accessories. The inspiring collection was originally on view at Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Needless to say, we're thrilled it made it across the pond.
